C300 controller is a powerful controller of Honeywell C series. When the controller is powered on, it will automatically perform a series of tasks. It mainly includes the following three steps:
 Self test (POST) to verify the existence of C300 controller and test the integrity of hardware.
 Initialize the software and hardware environment.Determine whether the controller enters the application state.
The following is a summary of the process of starting and self checking (POST) after the C300 controller is powered on.When the C300 controller is inserted into the charged IOTA backplane, the power LED will be on, and the firmware installed in the flash memory before the factory will be loaded when the controller starts When the C300 controller is powered on and started, it will conduct power on self-test. Tnnn will be displayed on the display screen, and nnn will display the test code currently under power on self-test.
The LED indicator on the C300 controller will temporarily display all colors (red, green, orange), and then it will remain red until the end of the power on self-test test.
 Some horizontal and vertical lines will appear on the controller display screen, and the display screen will be fully lit.
 The progress of power on self-test will be displayed on the display screen of C300 controller. If any error occurs during the power on self-test, the self-test will stop, and then the panel will display the relevant fault code (Tnnn).
Handling method when an error occurs: If an error occurs and the power on self-test stops, the controller can be restarted to conduct a power on self-test again. If the error still exists, a new controller can be replaced. If the controller self-test is normal, the C300 controller will decide whether to enter the application mode or startup mode. If there is just one available application image in the C300 controller at this time, the C300 controller will enter the application mode.When the C300 controller is waiting for BootP server service, words such as "- bp" will be displayed on the controller display panel. The BootP server provides the IP address and clock server IP address for the controller. If the C300 controller does not receive a response from the BootP server within 2 minutes, the C300 controller will display timeout.After the C300 controller receives the response from the BootP server, "- TS -" will be displayed on the controller display, indicating that the controller is waiting for the response from the configured clock source. If the configured clock source is unavailable, the controller will try to connect another clock source. If an available IP address is assigned to the controller, the redundant C300 controller will communicate with its standby.
