正确选用变频器对于机械设备的传动控制系统的正常运行时非常重要的,避免因选型错误,引发设备故障,造成不必要的损失。首先应明确选用变频器的目的,其次在根据设备类型、负载特性、调速范围、控制方式、使用环境、防护结构等要求来选择合适的变频器。以此,来达到既满足生产工艺,又实现经济效益的目的。
1、机械设备的负载转矩特性
在实践中常将生产机械根据负载转矩特性的不同,分为三大类型:恒转矩负载、恒功率负载和降转矩特性负载。选择变频器时自然应以负载特性为基本依据。
1.1 降转矩特性负载
在各种风机、水泵、液压泵中,随着叶轮的转动,空气或液体在一定的速度范围内所产生的阻力大致与速度的二次方成正比,转矩按转速的二次方变化,负载功率按速度的三次方成正比变化,这类负载为降转矩负载。
1.2 恒功率负载
这类负载的特点是需求转矩TL与转速n大体成反比,负载随着电动机转速的下降输出转矩反而增加,即在调速范围内,转速低力矩大、转速高力矩小,电动机的输出功率不变。金属切削机床的主轴和轧机、造纸机、薄膜生产线中的卷取机、开卷机等,都属于恒功率负载。
负载的恒功率性质是就一定的速度变化范围而言的。当速度很低时,受机械强度的限制,TL不可能无限增大,在低速下转变为恒转矩性质。负载的恒功率区和恒转矩区对传动方案的选择有很大的影响。电动机在恒磁通调速时,最大允许输出转矩不变,属于恒转矩调速;而在弱磁调速时,最大允许输出转矩与速度成反比,属于恒功率调速。如果电动机的恒转矩和恒功率调速的范围与负载的恒转矩和恒功率范围相一致时,即所谓“匹配”的情况下,电动机的容量和变频器的容量均最小。
